*I just received my offer letter for internship with the US department of energy. The salary is not as high as what I had for last year's internship, yet it's not that low either. I think at this time, God has opened my heart to be more receptive upon His will with willingness. I am thankful that this whole process of getting internship has been progressing.... and is still moving on. It's just a proof that He has been faithful all this while.*
No confirmation yet regarding my summer plan though. :)

Blessing #9: Small group = church

* Thank God for my small group. Just like being in Highrock and feeling as if I am part of a family, I feel the same way too with my small group. Everyone is so loving and genuine. Come to think about it, small group or bible study can just be another CHURCH. Remember that church is not about the building, it's more about the fact that two or more people are gathered in God's presence. I thank God for the two small groups I have this term.*

"Admiring God's creation is never a simple and easy thing. Take for instance, try to look around you, what do you see... buildings, trashes, people walking mindlessly, the normal busyness of life you always see every day... But SPRING is created by God so that we can be reminded that God is still around, that things that seem bleak can still be changed and renewed. Flowers started to blossom at the beginning of this week... the temperature is getting much milder. Sun rises very early in the morning (I woke up at 5.30 am today and I could see the sunshine was coming up a bit by a bit at 6... (more)

*Some people find it hard to be carefree, happy about their life. Worry and care instead overwhelm their lives. I would admit that my life is not totally without any worry at all... but at least I know Whom I can always depend on. I believe in one and true God who can fulfill that longing for true happiness in my life. He would make it complete one day, and I always look forward to that day in my mind, moving forward every day rather than merely contemplating on the bleak past moments that already happened*
So, thank God that even in this life, I can experience what is meant by HAPPINESS... (more)

The coolest thing about being in MIT is that...
It's very common to encounter people who have made a difference to the world at some points in their life. Last week, an MIT alumnus came to give a presentation about her work with the Chlorox company and how they now produce a liquid cleaner that is, unlike normal bleach, environment-friendly. The brand is called "GREEN WORKS".
And guess what...

*Have you ever experienced making a mistake to somebody and that person forgave you? You know that he/she was upset that you did the mistake but he/she said 't's alright' anyway? Well, I just had that yesterday... It was probably the worst date ever. But sometimes I can really see that God alone forgives me in such a situation. He must be upset too, but His grace knows no bound.
Sometimes this reminds me of Jesus' experience... He must be upset being betrayed, and denied, and mocked, and ridiculed, and left behind by followers.. but on top of all these, He still said 'Father, forgive them... (more)

So, this week will be the half-mark of my Sophomore year second term. I thank God that everything has gone pretty smoothly so far.
and...
*Spring break is coming. That means... I will have fun... Kenneth, Albert, Andre, Anita and probably a few other new friends are people I will meet up with next week!! Yay.. and I will have more rest too. And from this week onwards, the temperature will go up (above 10 deg C) so, I am planning to get back to my running schedule like last year. :)*
This Fri I will be having an exam and an interview. Keep me in prayer, ok?/ :)

*Being in MIT, I have all access to internet 24/7 free. There are hundreds of computers all around the campus and even printing here is free. This is normally just something I take for granted, but I realized that not many schools give this kind of privlege and let alone those poor countries which are struggling even with having their first few computers and internet access.
Hence, use these facilities properly :)*
